Re: Good laptop for sims 4 and school

@Marisarose3994  I'm sorry for the late reply.  I ran out of time yesterday and couldn't do a thorough search, and I didn't want to give you half an answer.

The one you've linked would certainly run all your Sims 4 content, but not nearly as well as other models in the same price range.  That laptop would have been a good choice two years ago; it's just been surpassed by a significant margin.  For example, this one is almost the same price and has a graphics card that's about 75% faster in gaming, one that should run all Sims 4 packs together on medium-high settings.

This one is more expensive, but aside from having the same processor and graphics chip as the Acer above, it comes with 16 GB RAM, and it's a bit smaller as well:

There are also quite a few gaming laptops in your price range that don't scream "gaming laptop" when you look at them.  Some are more subtle than others, and since I don't know your taste, I'll list all of these and you can cross off any that are too obvious.

The 1650 ti in the third laptop is a bit faster than the regular 1650, and the 3050 is significantly faster than that, but they should all be able to handle all current Sims 4 packs on ultra settings.  The Legion is the most highly rated overall of the group, but it also weighs more than the others.

There are a lot of choices out there, especially in the category of non-gaming laptops like the first two I linked.  So if you have something else in mind and would like to see any particular details, feel free to ask.  More questions in general are always fine.

@puzzlezaddict I think I’ll look into the first two you have linked and see which I like the most and go from there. Thank you so much, you helped out a lot!
