Re: Growing Together not showing up in game

I FINALLY found a way to get my game working after growing together was telling me I owned the game and it was in the library, but it wasn’t showing up in the game. EA APP was acting like it was downloaded, but it obviously wasn’t really. I had pre purchased this game and redeemed the code in EA app. But when I’d go to the main game screen and hover over that game it would say (download to play). The workaround I found after several hours of messing with the game, was to download an old version of origin. Now origin is not usable obviously because the forced update to EA screen. HOWEVER, even though you can’t do anything in there you can see the download manager in the bottom left corner and it will start verifying your games bc you just freshly installed origin. This thankfully included it automatically verifying the files for growing together and downloading it through origin! After it finished finalizing I simply clicked the “update to EA app” screen that’s forced upon us and I clicked “repair” for the app. Then it forced me to uninstall origin bc it won’t let you have both open at once. When I refreshed the EA app and opened the game the welcome screen for growing together was finally there. So much wasted time. But I know I’m not the only one and I wanted to share in case this helps someone else. I got the idea from a different post on a different thread.
