@TiaMustang When you say you reset your PC, did you revert to factory settings, with nothing at all installed; or did you do something else? Did your PC come with an antivirus pre-installed? Even if you never used it, please let me know whether one was present initially.
Please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
