@lizzylovebird Have you tested different audio devices? If not, please do so now, specifically with only one plugged in at a time (restart your computer after disconnecting the others) and using different types of connections. For example, if you typically use Bluetooth speakers, test headphones that are NOT Bluetooth.
If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
