Can you try a full uninstall and reinstall of your game please and let me know if you're still seeing this?

- @EA_Solaire I've uninstalled and reinstalled and I'm afraid it didn't work - still blank text boxes for the horse and buildings in Chestnut Ridge. I don't have mods installed.

- @EA_Solaire Good news, I think it is fixed - I went back into the EP14 file and noticed that in the Steamapps/common/Sims4 folder there is a series of EP/GP/SP files, but also a folder called Delta containing a duplicate set of EP/GP/SP files (why there are duplicate versions of all of the packs and kits, I don't know). The Delta folder's version of EP14 did not contain the Strings package, whereas the other one did. So I copied the package across to the Delta folder's version and restarted the game, and it worked. The update earlier today and the reinstall had updated one version of the file but not the other. It's still a mystery as to why there are two versions of all of it, but anyway, we got there in the end. 🙂

Glad you got that resolved. The only reason you would see an EP14 Delta folder in that directory is if you had a Mod that put it there, you shouldn't see that folder unless a patch is released for EP14.- @EA_Cade the Delta folder is not specifically for EP14 - it contains all of the expansion packs, kits etc - I have the feeling it's been there for a while. Not sure why it's there though, or whether it's a problem. If there are any future issues I will check there first. 🙂
- @EA_Cade sorry, to be clear, the Delta folder isn't in the EP14 folder, it's in the Sims4 folder.
@cathybirds I'm sure EA_Cade knows that this thread is about the EP14 folder inside ...The Sims 4\Delta, as opposed to the EP14 folder directly inside The Sims 4. The Delta folder holds patch data for each pack, but the folder for a given pack isn't created until something from that pack is patched. So since there has been no patch involving Horse Ranch, there shouldn't be an EP14 folder inside Delta. Every other pack should have a corresponding folder inside Delta, just not a new one that hasn't been patched yet.
