Origin is the client needed to run the game. You can download the latest version here: https://www.origin.com/dnk/en-us/store/download
After installation login to the account you have The Sims 4 on.

@freyaxrose If you already have an activation code and have a pc you need to download Origin from EA and install. Origin is the DRM for this game ind is required to play this game. Once Origin is installed and you login (or create an account and then login) you can redeem the code you already have. If the system accepts the code the game icon should appear in the library section in Origin. From the icon you can install the game and start the game.

If you downloaded the game from a website you probably downloaded a pirated copy.

You need the EA game client Origin to download the game if you purchased it on the Origin website.
