Re: how do you restore a game that was overide by accident

@Lickle_Jay  What do you see when you click Load Game from the Main Menu?  Let me know whether your old saves are available there.

If they're gone, please open Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves, and take a screenshot of the contents.

@Lickle_Jay  Okay, try renaming them.  Save files should be in format Slot_0000000x.save, where x is a hexidecimal number (0 to 9, a to f, then it rolls over to 10).  I can't see how many saves you have in your screenshot, but the last one listed is Slot_0000000c.save.  So if there isn't one labeled with a d, rename one of those saves Slot_0000000d.save.

If you're not sure what you're looking at, take all the saves out of your saves folder except for the three you're trying to recover.  Then rename one of them Slot_00000002.save, and see whether it will load.
