Re: how to change the language in sims 4?

@marysowa and @DrateGon  You could try contacting EA customer support and asking that the language locked version of Sims 4 be removed from your account and the global version added instead.  Support will sometimes do this if you get a live chat (not email).  If you don't see the option to live chat, change the location in your browser window to U.S. or U.K., or choose a slightly different category of issue.

The other option is to download the game from Steam, which only offers the global version.  Your EA-owned packs would work in the Steam install: you'd install them from the EA App after you installed the base game in Steam.

Thank you so much! Only now I'm really struggling to find the live chat option? Could you please give me some instructions or anything like that? I already have the location set to US and I've tried to change the category and yet I can't find the live chat. But really thank you so much, you're really saving me rn.

@marysowa  All I can suggest is trying different options, perhaps in different browsers or in private/incognito windows, and maybe at different times of day.  It used to be that live chat was offered pretty much any time in English at least, but these days, it seems more and more difficult to get the option to show up.

Edit:  You could also try this:
