Re: [INFO REQUEST] Black Screen on Startup

You seem to have both a Intel Chip with drivers from 2012 and an AMD card.

make sure the game runs on the AMD card and not the chip and update your drivers.

Unfortunately, I'm still having the same problem even though my game is running on the AMD card and the drivers are updated.

@Onionique Need to know exactly which video chip is in your computer. There are many versions of the AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5000 series. Some are very entry level gaming chips and some not so good. Where did you get the driver? HP should be the first place to look as you have switchable graphics. I'm concerned because the video driver should have been upgraded with the Windows 10 upgrade and you may have the wrong driver installed for the AMD video chip (first guess).

I decided to downgrade my computer back to Windows 7 again and it solved the problem! 😃

I think I'll wait with getting Windows 10 until I get a new computer, it wasn't worth the trouble.😞

@Onionique Well I glad you got it working but Windows 7 main support is over and is now on extended support. the free upgrade is over in July and extended support for Windows 7 ends 1/14/2020.

    Take care.
