Re: Issues with opening cheat console

Hello,

I can bring up the cheat console in Sims4, then I went back to play Sims2 Ultimate Collection and tried to toggle cheat console, it doesn't seem working. After that, I went back to Sims4 and try to toggle cheat console, it doesn't work either. Afterwards, I try to install Sims3 with all the expansion packs I have on Origin, and launched the game and tried to toogle cheat console on Sims3, it doesn't work either.

Hard for me to believe you have provided 4,960 actual Solutions.

So...if I just run around writing answers to other people, will I get those marked as solutions too?

Does EA even pay attention to what badges they give folks?

Certain computer brands uses certain programs and components.

yeah um the cheat box works on there but not on sims 4 it works on sims3

Did you restart the game ?

Try repair game on Origin ?

Please Help Me. I have a Lenovo laptop that I got for Christmas in 2014 & I've been playing The Sims 3 & The Sims 4 since then. The cheat bar is not opening for me on both The Sims 3 & The Sims 4 anymore & I tried everything! I tried finding EA's phone number but I can't find it at all. Plus, I tried figuring the problem I'm having on my own but I'm so stressed out because of this problem. Please Help Me! It would mean a lot to me if you did try to help me solve my problem. Please. I tried using Ctrl + Shift + C holding them down all together but it's not working on boh of The Sims 3 & The Sims 4. Please. I need & want all the help I can get.

It's usually another program interfering in the back.

Make sure you have no screenshot programs running

well i had the same problem except i was pressing space instead of the shift key

i can't even get the cheat console open by pressing ctrl shift c

The game only allowed me to do it in "windowed fullscreen" once. when I came back on I had to put it back into fullscreen to be able to use it again. I hope this can help someone else in the future.
