Re: Laptop for Sims 4
@d35c2cd39885b0bc I wouldn't recommend this laptop from a performance standpoint. Its graphics chip is pretty slow even compared to the equivalent model released one year later, and you'll notice a significant difference in Sims 4. But the newer (11th-gen Intel, i5 or i7) laptops would be fine and within your budget, as would many reasonably new AMD laptops. Some examples:

These are all in the same performance category, meaning you'd get the same results plus or minus a few percentage points. (They should all be able to run Sims 4, all packs included, on medium-high or high graphics settings.) So you can choose based on price, weight, screen size, even the aesthetics—whatever matters to you. The first laptop has 12 GB RAM, which is a nice bonus but not necessary; the second and third are the same laptop in different colors; the fourth has double the storage, again nice but not strictly necessary.
If you specifically want a touchscreen, your options are more limited. Just so you know, the touchscreen won't work well with Sims 4, but you might have other purposes in mind. This is the only option I'm seeing for $500 or less that would give you the same performance as the ones above.
