    Well I did say it might not work for everyone ..it worked for me. I think people are having a lot of problems with win 10 and Sims unfortunately and some of the fixes work and some don't. Did you try a system restore?

    If you pasted your old saves and Tray folder in the new game folder it could not be gone. Maybe you have two of the same folders there?
    I wrote that before pasting the old folders into the new game folder, you should delete the new folders with the same name because you can't have two identical folders there.
    About mouse:
    In the meantime, it turned out that there could be other reasons for this problem.
    One of them is the Reshade mod. If you use it, you know that it is not put in the mods folder, only in the installation folder. If you have it, turn it off or uninstall it.
    Another option is to disable Origin in the game. You can do it in Origin settings after clicking the name "Origin" which is in the upper left corner of the page next to the icon. There you need to select the application settings, click it and you'll find the "Origin in game" tab.
