Re: New Dell Inspiron 15 to play The Sims 4

@Fredefml  The first laptop you've described, with the 5500U, is a good choice in the ~500€ range.  Its graphics chip is probably capable of running Sims 4 on high graphics settings, all packs included, although you might need to turn a couple settings down to medium.  It's not a gaming machine but is an excellent option for a non-gaming laptop.  It's also definitely better than anything with an i3, even the newest 1115G4, in terms of both processing and integrated graphics.

Normally, I'd offer to look for other options, and I still can if you want me to; just list your budget and country.  But I doubt you'll find anything better for a similar price unless there happens to be an entry-level gaming laptop on sale.  If you don't want one of those, then a laptop with a 5500U, or perhaps a 5600U if you happen to see one, is the best option.

Thank you very much for responding!

The budget is less than 700€ (i don't know the corresponding currency in your country ><), so i know there are not so many "good" notebook for my purpose - but i don't want to use it as a gaming notebook, like i said i already have a nice desktop pc! So i don't want to spend a lot of money!

For now, after all my researches, those 2 notebook are the only ones that looks decent for what i have to do and the price is ok. I live in Italy, btw!

    Thank you again 🙂
