@ThatGeekZen Yes, Origin probably got confused by the free copy of Steam and now thinks you only own the game through Steam, except you don't anymore, because it was just a free weekend. You can try clearing Origin's cache:

Restart your computer as well before trying to play.
If that doesn't help though, you'll need to contact EA customer support to get the Steam copy removed from your Origin library. This shouldn't be difficult for a support rep to do, but it's not something that can currently be done from the player side.
