I found it's a mod doing it. I just have to find out which, thank you ^^
Which mod? I'm also having this problem.

Use the 50/50 method: http://modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Finding_Problem_Custom_Content to find the culprit - DonroaAkashu5 years agoSeasoned Ace
@SirHeavyRice Here is the method on Sims Wiki, which I hope is in accordance with this forum's age appropriateness:
http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Finding_Problem_Custom_Content#The_50.25_Method
It sounds more complicated than it is, as it is just a matter of exclusion in steps.[Edited to remove inappropriate reference - EA_Arcadia]
Edit: The reference was to Mod The Sims and about linking to it, which is inappropriate as I have been told. - @jpkarlsen Did you find out which one? Same issue over here

Please read earlier answers in this thread.
- @SirHeavyRice Did you figure out which mod
Found the problem it wasn't a mod at all. Its certain stoves that don't work, it wont allow you to make food it states no stove available. Must be an issue with the patch. I deleted that stove bought the same stove and didn't work. Then bought another stove that was different and that one worked. Tried other stoves as well and some worked and some did not. For clarification the stoves I am talking about are not custom content but came with the game.

@Thekey2244 And what stove are you having issues with ? The name (or a pic) ?

@SirHeavyRice Ooh, I would be very careful when replying to old threads. There's a word for replying to threads that are more than a month old, and that is Necroposting. Moderators hate that, so..... yeah. Keep that in mind.

@Thekey2244 I can tell you were desperate. Not a good idea to post out of desperation. (Trust me. I've done that before, and more often than not, I would get ignored immediately.)
Also, did you take your mods folder out and test it without CC? Sometimes even that can be the case, even if it's just a default object having issues.
If certain stoves still don't work even after mods have been taken out and the cache has been cleared, then it's either SUPPOSED to work like that, or it's just another bug..... disguised as a restriction. 😉 (Just a thought lol)
- @Epierc32 Post out of desperation? I shouldn’t even respond to this but maybe people don’t respond to you b/c of the way you talk to them. I’ve played sims since 2000 I know about all the tips to try and find the culprit I did those before seeking outside assistance. Glad you found what was occurring in your game. Happy simming
