Re: Not downloading to OneDrive?

@spookybucky   The sequence of events for OneDrive is the file needs to exist on your local drive. Windows will move it to the OneDrive folder and from there the file will be copied to the cloud. In practice OneDrive saves the files to the cloud as a backup for example the game user data files. It isn't meant to install the or run the game from the cloud. I don't think you can install the game from the cloud with OneDrive. It is better to let the Windows operating system do what it does. If you are having free space issues now IMO it will not get better. You need a bigger (much bigger) system drive. The Windows operating system bloats that is what it does. I found this explanation on a Microsoft site No, you cannot the run a program directly from the OneDrive Cloud. You will have to download the program to your computer from OneDrive and then install the same. This is because OneDrive is just a Cloud based service and will not behave like a local hard drive. You can get a usb drive but a usb drive is slower then a hard connected drive and usb devices can (and do) change their device designation under certain circumstances. I do not recommend this. Trying to run software from the cloud can be tricky and data rates are even slower then usb devices. If you are a casual Windows user I recommend you get a larger system storage system.
