@limitedvaeh  Your dxdiag lists a number of crashes of the Nvidia graphics driver, so please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of the driver, as described here:

    https://crinrict.com/blog/2019/02/clean-re-install-of-graphics-drivers-with-display-driver-uninstaller-ddu.html

You can get a fresh copy of the newest Nvidia driver here:

    https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/230094/en-us/

If you get another shutdown, please look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor.  Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day.  Today is on the right.

Look for an error that happened at exactly the time of your most recent crash, specifically after reinstalling the driver.  If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here.  If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.

If you still don't see an error, please download hwinfo (it's free) and open it before launching Sims 4, then check your CPU and GPU temperatures periodically.  Let me know the maximum you see before your computer crashes.  I'm interested in the highest CPU core temp and the GPU core temp.

After reinstalling the drivers it shut off again, so then I did the monitor thing and I have 6 errors but it just says "Windows was not properly shut down" and no extra details

@limitedvaeh  That error isn't a surprise, but it does suggest that this problem is on the hardware side rather than software.  Please check your CPU and GPU temperatures with hwinfo, or if you prefer, another app that shows both, and let me know what you see.

Before playing the sims 4, my GPU is 135.0 and my maximum my CPU goes is 2494. After opening the sims 4 my GPU keeps jumping up to 1073.8 but over time it goes down. My CPU stays mostly the same.

@limitedvaeh  These are not valid values for temperature.  Are you actually seeing those numbers, or are you looking at different readings?

@limitedvaeh  When you open hwinfo, choose Sensors Only, then scroll to the GPU section.  Look for an icon that looks like an old-school thermometer; the unit will show as º, as in, degrees.  The value should be around 35-50º C without Sims 4 open.

The CPU temperatures will be by core, as in, each core will have its own reading.  They'll have the same icon.  If you don't see them, expand each section until you find them.

@limitedvaeh  Okay, I'd like the full hwinfo log then.  Restart your computer, open hwinfo, choose Sensors Only, and click the button that's a sheet of paper with a + to start logging.  Save the log file to your desktop for easy access.  Wait five minutes, then open Sims 4 and play until your computer shuts down.  Don't alt-tab out of the game or run any other programs, aside from the EA App of course, while you're testing.  After you restart the computer, the log should be intact up until the shutdown.

Please upload the log to the third-party filesharing site of your choice (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) and link it for me.  Either leave it in .csv format or, if you're going to use OneDrive, create a .zip file, and don't open the log before uploading it, or else my log reader might not be able to interpret it.
