@ShinoTypeError Glad it's working out on your end. I believe I did have MCCC cleaner set to head for the same reason.
So far all is going good on my end. After deleting the cfg files and resetting MCC settings to the way I like, I slowly moved the rest of the mods back in and continued to play test some more.
Since everything was working fine I loaded my main previous save that had the issues and noticed all pets except one stray were back to normal. I want to say all is well now.
Might wait a day or so more before claiming it solved unless we begin having issues again.
