- @Alek6244 If using mods move the mod folder to desktop, along with tray and saves.
If no mods move saves to desktop
For either then delete thumbcache
Use EA APP repair
Try to start new game
If all works, you can add saves back and if using mods 50/ 50 them back in along with tray.
Hope that helps! 🙂 @Alek6244 This patch wasn't mod-breaking, so your issues are likely to be with the update process itself. Try this:
- If you're not on console, copy your saves folder to your desktop for safekeeping as a backup
- If you're on PC, clear the EA App or Origin cache (for the EA App, that's Help > App Recovery), then do a Game Repair
- If you're on console, follow your console's method for the equivalent; it's often called File Recovery or similar
- Retest both a New and the old games
