but what causes this? Often times i do not realize Sims are missing until after i have done more work or building, and cannot go back to a save, even if it exists. It seems to be random, as it is both recently played and edited households and non-played Sims that vanish.
- @JJ-Blaze9 There isn't one reason that can cause Sims going missing. In case of OP it was an error code that probably corrupted Sims families. Mods can be another reason or something went wrong while saving.
There's also culling and or save games bein moved around.
So it would probably best to make your own thread and give a bit more details.
- Did only some Sims disappear or all of them ? NPCs, housed, unhoused ?
- Is your played family still the way you saved last ?
- Did you have any errors or save issues ?
- Any mods/cc in your game ?
- Did you ever have the father winter save bloat issue ?
- whatever else comes to mind.
