I have the exact same problem after the latest patch for the Lovestruck pack (which I don't even own). Repairing the game and reinstalling the EA app did nothing. After paying so much for all the pac...

    @mrsderpina  Did you ever try a clean user folder?  If not, please try that now:  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.

    If that doesn't help, try playing in a new admin Windows account.  Make it local, as in, don't link it to your Microsoft account.  You'll be able to (try to) launch the game without reinstalling anything.

    If that doesn't help either, please do a (more thorough) clean uninstall and reinstall of Sims 4, as described here:
