Push M, or click the phone in the bottom left and Travel/Travel with. 🙂

- Well I just bought & downloaded the Sims 4 today & I can't access any cars, go to town or anywhere. Only place my sims go is to work. I can't even go to the market or out to eat. I can't do anything at all with my Sims & I don't even know why. I haven't downloaded any mods or anything for the game. Please help! I want to fix this!!
There's no cars or restaurants.
Have you tried pressing m to go to the map and pick a different lot to travel too ?
Or through the phone ?
Did you try the solution in the solution post ?
Any mods in your game ?
Map or phone it doesn't do anything for me it jus say traveling with sims name and doesn't go anywhere.
Are you using custom content or mods in your game ? If so, have you tried removing those ?
A lot of custom content/mods is outdated and needs updating.
Try removing everything and see if it then works.

If you are not using mods/cc, could you start a new save for testing purposes to see if that has the same issue ?
