Re: Sims 4 CC Hair won't change colours

Hi again!

It has come to my attention that there has been a patch and I've read a post that you should remove the mods from the Sims4 before updating.

I have my game set to automatic update, so it updated before I had a chance to remove them.

Could that be the issue?

If it is, does anyone now how to fix it?

Do I just have to reinstall my mods or is there more to it?

Thank you ^-^

  • There hasn’t been an absolute fix. There have only been temporary (“bootleg”) fixes such as using S4S batch fix, reinstalling the game, or updating the UI Extension mod—TSR has an updated batch fix as well, but no one has gotten word out about how effective that is, or how unfamiliar users of the program would use that. As of now, nothing will be a sure bet until next patch update.

If you go through this thread, back and fourth you’d realize that this is what we’ve been discussing, which goes beyond the fact that mods have been affected by the update, regardless of whether or not some users/simmers set the game to automatically update or not. But who knows? We’ll know something sooner or later.
