Re: Sims 4 consistent crashing
I will try using DDU to reinstall my drivers, previously I just used Nvidia Geforce to get a clean install which said it uninstalled it and reset all settings
. The dxdiag crash happened the first time i ran it and answered yes to a prompt asking if i wanted to bypass the failure of Direct3D, when i ran it again and answered no to that prompt the dxdiag crash message was not there
. I also dont believe its the CPU or GPU failing under load because I actually ran 3dmark the day i got this pc with great results and since then neither the GPU or CPU have reached anywhere near 80c on other very taxing games
I just ran both PowerShell commands, the only message from the first one was "The operation completed successfully", the second one gave me a message saying corrupted files were found and repaired, I then checked the logs and these were the files that got repaired.

I cannot attach the full logs file because it is too large, but if you want me to i can also copy and paste the section just from today incase i might have missed anything.
Also as i write this and check your ideas i think my CPU might be overclocked even though i never set it up or asked it to be set up so i will be resetting that to factory clock speed if it is.
Hopefully the repaired system files, CPU overclock check, and DDU driver reset will work, ill update the results later but there will be a good bit of delay.
