Re: Sims 4 DLC key not working

I'm having the same issue with Growing Together. Bought the DLC at the store, and successfully redeemed the key, but the app won't recognize that I own it therefore I can't download it. My Sims 4 in-game menu states I own it but need to download it. I have restarted the app, cleared the cache, repaired the game, and restarted my computer. The fact that I have to even do all of this and still don't have a fix is infuriating!! Attached is my error report number. 0ad79897-b85b-4268-b748-e741c6a2b98c

    Hi I came across this same problem with CDKeys. I contacted CDkeys. This is what they sent me and it worked for me. 

    For the EA app on PC:
     

    1. Launch the EA app. If prompted, log in using your EA Account information.
    2. Open your Library.
    3. Click Redeem Code.
    4. Enter the code we provided you, click Next, and then Confirm.
    5. Click Download with the EA app.

     
    For Origin on Mac:
     

    1. Launch the Origin on your computer. If prompted, log in using your EA Account information.
    2. Click the Games menu at the top of the screen.
    3. In the drop-down menu, choose Redeem Product Code.
    4. Enter the code we provided you, and click Next.
    5. Right click on The Sims 4 Base Game image and click Show Game Details.
    6. Click the Expansion Packs, Game Packs, or Stuff Packs tab depending on what pack you bought.
    7. Find the pack you want to install and click Download.
    8. After the installation is finished, click The Sims 4 and then Play to launch the game. Your new pack content will now be available in-game.

    @ramkiyo Mine saids the same thing when i try to download tbe game packs it saids installation error and i really don’t know why I’ve cleared my cache and restarted the app but idk it’s so frustrating
