Re: Sims 4 folder keeps changing back to read-only

Question

This is happening to me on my pc and my partners pc.&nbsp; Trying to uncheck the read only so i can install the better build buy mod as it wants permissions. When i look at it again, the square black box is back there.&nbsp; The instructions say to remove the check in the read only but it keeps changing itself back.&nbsp; I have full permissions and no malware.&nbsp; My partner has had this on another game.&nbsp; Cant fix it.&nbsp;

@Twinkle1974&nbsp; I've split your post into its own thread because the previous thread was somewhat old.&nbsp; This might not be an actual problem for you though.&nbsp; Have you tried installing the mod and using it in-game?&nbsp; Let me know whether it works, and if not, please list the full file path to your user folder.&nbsp; What I'd like is what you see in-game, using this method:
