@4wb5qo21hiz8 Since the other thread is a bit old and mostly or entirely about native Windows installs, I've split your post into its own thread.
Is there a reason you're using Parallels? Any M1 or later Mac should be able to run Sims 4 quite well, and you wouldn't need to split the RAM between macOS and Windows.
If you do want to keep using Parallels, please let me know how much memory your Mac has overall. You can see this under About This Mac.
My MacBook memory is: 8GB

@4wb5qo21hiz8 I understand you might want Parallels for other reasons, but it's not going to run Sims 4 as well as your Mac would natively. For one thing, you've only budgeted 4 GB to Parallels, which I understand given that your system has 8 GB and also needs to run macOS at the same time. But within Parallels, 1 GB is reserved for graphics processing, which leaves only 3 for Sims 4 itself. That's not nearly enough, at least not when you have all packs installed.
My suggestion is that you install Sims 4 in macOS and play there. M1 Macs generally run the game quite well, and as long as you don't open Parallels at the same time, Sims 4 will have access to more than enough RAM. If you see any crashing, enable vertical sync, which is a check box with the other graphics options, and restart the game.
