Re: Sims 4 keeps closing upon launch

@Squealymealy  Thanks for the dxdiag.  The cause of the problem is clear: the graphics driver is crashing and taking Sims 4 down with it.  However, a more immediate issue is that your computer has very little free space on C.  This can cause all sorts of system issues and should be addressed before doing anything else.  Please try to clear another 20 GB or so, for a total of 25 free, if you can.  If not, another 10 should at least eliminate this as a potential source of error, although 25 GB free would be better for the overall health of your system.

For the graphics driver, try the newest one offered by MSI for your computer.  It's somewhat old, but newer than the one you have, and it might work fine with Sims 4.  You can find the driver here:

https://www.msi.com/Laptop/Bravo-15-A4DDR/support?sub_product=Bravo-15-A4DDR#driver

If asked, select A4DDR > Drivers & Downloads > Driver > Graphics.  There's only one driver, which covers both the integrated graphics chip and the dedicated card.  Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator."  Restart your computer after installing and before trying to play.

If that doesn't help, you can try the newest driver AMD offers:

https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/amd-radeon-5500-series/amd-radeon-rx-5500-series/amd-radeon-rx-5500m

You'd want the "AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition," dated July 25.  Here again, run the installer as an admin and restart when you're done.

Thanks for the help! I'll make sure to clear some space and see what happens.
