Which language are you playing the game in? English

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)

What is your current game version number? Up-to-date

What expansion, game pack, and stuff pack do you have installed? Vampires, realm of magic, dine out, holiday celebration and laundry day

Steps: how can we find the bug ourselves? A pop-up at Games start up shows Sims delivery error

What happens when the bug occurs? As soon as I load the game it shows Sims delivery error and unable to download

What are you back to see? My game back to normal and able to download The Sims delivery items

Have I any customisation with the game e.g. custom content on mods? No I haven't moved them all.

Does this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made the system? No it happened after the Sims delivery pack was added to the game.

@Kayla-nova Either rename the Sims 4 folder in Documents\Electronic Arts to something else (it can even be "The Sims 4 old," just whatever you want), or move the folder to your desktop. The game won't be able to find the folder whether it's removed or named and will therefore spawn a new folder in its place, one with no content. The point is to see whether you get the same error in the new folder and then go from there.

@Kayla-nova Did you try the other suggestions in the other thread? Are you getting exactly the same error as before, or something else?

@Kayla-nova When you say you were able to make it work, does that mean you got around the error? If so, you don't need to do anything else. If not, please let me know what antivirus you use, if any.

@puzzlezaddict I was able to get rid if the error by spamming the resume download button on the new game, no anti virus. (For some reason this method does not work if there are save files).

My sims delivery isn’t working! I try to click on it to update it but it tells me that it isn’t working and then the code pops up. I don’t remember the code but I’m trying to repair the game but I tried that already and I tried to take out all mods and CC but that didn’t work either. I have a Windows 10.

@lesawithanE Could you check if your ransomware protection of your antivirus is maybe blocking the user folder ?

What are you using ?
