@strawberrysimsxx Does your computer run Windows or macOS? If Windows, create a folder on the drive, and call it whatever you want other than "The Sims 4." If Sims 4 is currently installed, make a backup copy of the Sims 4 folder in Documents > Electronic Arts, just in case. (This folder shouldn't be deleted when you uninstall, but it's better not to take chances.) Then open the EA App and uninstall the game.
The next step is to reinstall, and when you do, the EA App will ask you where you want to install. Choose the folder you created on your external drive, and the App should do the rest.
If you happen to have the CAS Demo installed on your computer, rename its folder, called "The Sims 4 Create a Sim Demo," to something else before reinstalling Sims 4. The folder will likely be here:
