I also have this problem and the solution didn't work. Tried both x86 and x64.

Are you on a mac or PC ?
Did you try uninstalling the ones you have first and then reinstalling them ?

Hi there,
I have a PC and have tried this with no luck!
I've uninstalled both and then reinstalled them one at a time.
Any other solutions? - crinrict9 years agoHero+
Do you also have the 120.dll or some other number ?
- ApprovedAnonymous8 years agoYou are the best. The 64 worked for me and I'm SO glad it's fixed. You should work for EA. Thank you so much.

Hi....I just wanted to say thank you and others who suggested this advice!!! I absolutely love Sims and had not been able to play because of this problem...my game Sims4 would not load without this notice! So I tried your advice....at firs it didn't work but then I deleted all of the other "Window Redistributables" plus the one I had just downloaded that I had in my Programs under my Control Panel and downloaded this program again....and now my game works again!!!! Again thank you so much!😉
