Re: Sims 4 wont launch

My sims have been crashing the second I open them in EA after installing Gshade. Weird files like TS4_Launcher_x64_dxgi and TS4_Launcher_x64_d3d9 came up.

I uninstalled Gshade but some files where left so I uninstalled them as well but I cant uninstall those 2 because the delete button wont appear.

I tried so many methods and nothing seems to work. Do you know anything about this problem?

  • @gucciflipflas  Try deleting the entire Bin folder where you originally put the GShade files and repairing the game (game library > Sims 4 > Manage > Repair).  To delete the folder, you'll need to first close the EA App and kill the EABackgroundService in the Task Manager (in the background processes list), if it's still running.
