Re: Sims 4 Won't Start Up w/ Mods, Even Though It Worked Fine Before

If you haven't already, delete the localthumbcache.package from the Sims 4 folder. This helps clear up some game glitches and will help to make sure there isn't any issues with any mods or cc. Like mods/cc that are outdated or no longer in game.

Oh my gosh, that was such a quick and probably REALLY OBVIOUS fix! Now I feel so dumb, having worried about this for weeks! I should have asked for help so much earlier. *facepalm* Thank you thank you thank you!

I did that, and for some reason my sims 4 game still isn't starting up. I tried to restart it multiple time, I even uninstalled it and reinstalled, but nothing seems to be working. Have any more advice for an issue like this?

Try doing a factory reset as described in this post:
    http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

After this don't paste your whole old mods folder in the new game folder.
Copy from old mods folder your mods and CC and paste it in the new mods folder.
First, paste script mods every time checking if the game is OK. Do the same with CC but if you have a lot of this, try the 50/50 method

    I don't work for EA
