Re: Sims 4 won't stop zooming in

@saggoat  First of all, please make sure you're not accidentally pressing the wrong key, or that the wrong key isn't firing on its own.  You can test in another app that uses the same key.  That would be Z on an English layout; it's the same in some but not all other languages.  The scroll wheel on your mouse can also scroll in and out, as can a swipe gesture on a trackpad.  Please make sure these aren't happening on their own as well; a browser window should respond to either input.

If that's not the issue, please go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and move Options.ini to the desktop, then test the game again.  This will reset all your in-game options, so if it doesn't help, you can delete the new Options.ini and put the old one back.

Thank you for the reply. I'm primarily using the scroll wheel to try and zoom and its none of those are firing on their own. I tried the options thing and that did not work either. Is there anything else I can do?

@saggoat  Please try a different mouse just in case there's something weird going on with this one.  Or if you have a laptop, unplug the mouse and play for a few minutes with just the trackpad.  I understand you might not want to play like this long-term, but it would be useful to see whether the problem disappears without your current mouse.
