Re: Sims can't pick up dishes on one lot

There's something that clearly rules out this possibility though. When I built the house room by room without the old kitchen, everything worked. Only after I added the old kitchen to the lot (but far away from the house) to move some of the decorative items to the new kitchen, the error occurred again. So I guess I will have to try again: rebuild the house room by room on an empty lot, build the kitchen from scratch. And maybe this time test it after every new addition. And then just not save the game, if the error occurs again. 

Ugh. Sounds like a lot of work.
