OomarcyoOI have that issue often. For me, it's when the localthumbcache.package file begins approaching 50Mb in size. From there, performance just gets slowly worse. I usually get tired of it around 65Mb and finally delete the file and let the game create a new one. Of course, by the time all of the Households load their pictures again, I still wind up with a 33Mb+ localthumbcache.package file. I honestly believe that file should be broken up into separate files for things that don't really change ... like the cooking thumbnails. Perhaps a file for played households, and another for unplayed households. Not sure how that would work, but I think you get the idea. Anyway, keep an eye on the size of your localthumbcache.package file.
