Re: Sims showering/swimming with shoes

Did you happen to have the MCCC Mod?

It could be that you enabled nude sims in , and possibly, in MC Dresser, could have created the settings so that only shoes show up with a particular outfit type.

I do have MCCC but I rarely mess around in MC Dresser. I'll try it though. Do you know what the settings are?

@Timmering I forgot to mention its also in swimming, showering and tanning nude. Shoes always appear on my sims and random.
  • I rarely mess around in it either, and I never turn nude on... just, no lol.

But I do know it is a feature. There are tutorials on youtube which go through everything, but it should not take ya that long to fix the settings. 🙂

@TimmeringI removed all mods and MCCC but shoes are still showing up, I don't think it could be the MCCC because it not even in the files. I'm thinking it is just EA's problem.

@LonelyFew  The issue is that some outfits, including the naked one, are not reachable through normal interventions.  When an article of clothing is improperly assigned to the outfit, sometimes it remains, or something similar remains, even after the cc that originally caused the problem is out of the game.  In these cases, the clothing can only be removed with a mod.  I believe MCCC has a command to reset the naked outfit.  If you're not sure how to do it, the MCCC site should have instructions.

Does this fix the issue that sims swim with shoes on, mostly boots? This happened after the update.

@Timmering  It may fix the issue, at least it does in some cases.  But I've never had that problem myself, so I don't know how often the MCCC fix is successful.  Once you've removed your cc, you can reset any sim outfit you want and then see whether it helps.
