Re: Surgery table isnt working or the option to give birth

Click the patient to treat . For example...the option for triple threat is there but grey so not able to click. Same as the surgery table...grey option but cant get the action

Treating a collapsed sim...my sim goes to treat patient and after helping them up , the patient should automatically go to surgery. The action cancels straight after and there is no patient options at all yet the patient still has the red heart over them for treatment.

Action for having a baby also keeps cancelling.

I've tested this on my own game and had no issues at all.

I don't know but your surgery table seems broken.

Try the following

• Go to work with your Sim
• Enter the cheat: bb.enablefreebuild
• Go to build/buy mode
• Search for Surgery Table .-> If you can't find it, enter: bb.showhiddenobjects on in the cheat bar
• Delete both your tables and replace with new default ones.
• After that go back to live mode. The tables should work again

Just tried all that and no joy.

When i go to replace the table its value is 0 but all other hospital items have value to it.

Should i just delete my games and start from stratch??

Really dont dont to but not being able to play certain aspects of the game is ruining it.

You can't sell them for 0 or does a new one also not work for you ? For me it worked fine after buying a new one.

The new one didnt work. However i have just made a new sim in a new a neighbourhood and the hospital is the original design so ive added the two surgery rooms to my gallery and added that to the hospital im having the issue with and deleted old rooms. See if that works.

You can also try starting a new game, saving the whole hospital to your library and then just bulldoze the one in your game and replace from the library

Tried deleting and buying new table, tried loading hospital anew from the library - no luck at anything so far.

If you move the OP table to a different location / room - it's working , so seems the problem is not with an object but a location!

However still would like to get rid of this glitch, as I have an OP room, and don't want to move it every time in the hospital foyer as soon somebody needs operation...
