Re: "the EA app has been launched from another application" how do I fix that?

@curupiradebota  Please run both the EA App and Steam as an admin: right-click each desktop shortcut and select "Run as administrator."  Don't try to launch Sims 4 until both apps have loaded fully, and then press Play in Steam rather than using the game's desktop shortcut.

    We've just met, puzzlezaddict, but I'm so glad that I'd like to hold your hand as we stand together at the shores of Argentina as the water licks gently at our feet. But now, stupid jokes aside, thank you so much! The game finally launched without a hitch! It's completely blank, of course, but I always back up my important files so that's not a problem. I'll remember your advice next time this happens. I'm truly grateful for your help. Have a good weekend!

    @puzzlezaddict hello! i'm having this exact problem but i think mine has to do with my mods or cc, because i can open the game perfectly if mods and cc are diabled but then when i choose in the game options to activate them and restart the game, it wont launch. it can launch if i remove all my downloaded content from my mods folder but most of my games are filled with cc (im not sure if my problem has to do with one specific mod or cc). i also have the EA DLC unlocker and idk if thats interfering.

    Hi @4sp0kaj5re3t , I'm locking this thread since it's a bit old and you are also mentioning using illegal versions of the game with EA DLC Unlocker. Those are the official EA forums and we won't be able to help you out with pirated versions of the games and DLCs.
