    @curupiradebota  Please run both the EA App and Steam as an admin: right-click each desktop shortcut and select "Run as administrator."  Don't try to launch Sims 4 until both apps have loaded fully, and then press Play in Steam rather than using the game's desktop shortcut.

We've just met, puzzlezaddict, but I'm so glad that I'd like to hold your hand as we stand together at the shores of Argentina as the water licks gently at our feet. But now, stupid jokes aside, thank you so much! The game finally launched without a hitch! It's completely blank, of course, but I always back up my important files so that's not a problem. I'll remember your advice next time this happens. I'm truly grateful for your help. Have a good weekend!
