@beckalicios The Steam version of Sims 4 is Windows-only, so this workaround can't be used in macOS.
I have found this thread, checked Steam and found the Steam version - just installing it now!
Do you know how to link Steam and EA? Do both account need to be in the same email adress?

@eloela94 When you try to launch Sims 4 through Steam, you'll be prompted to link your account to an EA account. I don't think you need to be using the same email address for both, but I haven't tested this.
