@1dfkc You've established pretty definitively that this is an account issue, likely a problem with your Sims 4 entitlement. As such, you'll need someone from EA support to manually remove your current entitlement so you can "buy" the game (for free) again. There's no way to solve it directly on your end.
I would strongly suggest using live chat rather than email. if you don't see the option, try this link:
Make sure you're signed into an EA site (this one is fine) before clicking the link and that the location in the lower-right corner of the browser window is set to U.S. or U.K.
If the support rep doesn't want to help or know what to do, it may be useful to remind them that this is a free game that should be easy to add or remove. But if you don't get anywhere, please let me know. Coverage from EA employees on this site is going to be sporadic and at times nonexistent until the new year, but someone will see your thread eventually.
