your card is fine, should work with that
please try the following things
- See if it starts in windowed mode
- Turn off Origin In Game
If you have a dual graphics system, make sure the game runs on the card and not the chip- Uninstall and reinstall your graphics drivers
- Rollback to earlier graphics drivers
- Right click on the game in Origin and press repair game
- If none of these work, could you please attach your Config.log found in documents\electronicarts\thesims4
