the folders I have that say anything about cache for the sims 4 is the "Cache" file, which seems to have pictures of sims that I found on gallery that I either liked or downloaded. the second folder is titled "Cachestr" and there is one file in there with a long name . the other cache folders are for other games I have.

this is the sims 4 that I am talking about. I went onto help.ea and after trying to file a complaint/help form, I was told my account was suspended for violating the rules.
I plays the sims offline, never upload to the gallery, and only go on answers.ea or help.ea when I desperately need help, so I have NO clue on how I violated the rules.

I am afraid not, only the TOS team can answer your questions about a ban. (or unban your account)
okay. But I believe the ban has nothing to do with the fact that when I load one of my saves, I am brought back to the map menu, in a new world.
That would be a question for the Sims experts inhere, I am sure the will give you an answer in time.
will they answer on this thread? I remember reading something a week ago to remove all mods for the 6/19 update but I was away yesterday and unable to do that intime.
We are all fellow gamers her. (A few EA CMs as well 😉 ) So I think they will answer you, but I can't say when.
Please rename your Mods folder to Mods_old. Start the game and try loading your game if that works move your Mods one at a time to the newly created Mods folder. Test that it still works. continue untill you have found all that is broken.
will try that ASAP. but I received an email from EA, that they removed my ban!
the save loaded perfectly without any cc, but now I need to try and add my cc in. I deleted a mod that I downloaded a few days ago, that was causing major lag.. hopefully that will work!
put my cc back in, and I had the same problem. i'm gonna try to "repair" the game under origin, but I doubt that will work
the game loaded for a good 15 minutes and did nothing, so I had to turn off my PC to even get it to close.. I repaired and updated my game and I think it made it worse.
I tried loading my game AGAIN, and it loaded for almost 2 hours. and didn't do anything, so, again, I had to turn off my PC.
so I had the idea to update MCCC (MC command center) and saw on the website it was updated for the 6/19 patch. after updating, my game loaded perfectly! I think I fixed it :P
