@Alston-Sims  Normally, it's enough to clear the EA App's cache:

Given how you restored the files, you might need to repair the game as well.  The option is under Sims 4 > Manage > Repair.

If that doesn't help, you might need to reinstall the game.  If that would take too long, there's a shortcut that's not entirely reliable but is worth trying.  Rename the Sims 4 folder that contains the game's program files, by which I mean not the folder in Documents but the one you see under Sims 4 > Manage > View properties.  Tell the EA App to download the game, then pause the download.  Copy the program files to the new Sims 4 folder and resume the download; the App may simply verify the files instead of downloading fresh copies.  If this works, you can delete the old folder once you're done.

When renaming the Sims 4 folder, make sure the EA App is closed and the EABackgroundService is NOT running in the Task Manager.
