@businesshead The file in question is a component of the EA App, so try repairing the App. Download a fresh copy of the installer and run it, and you should be asked if you'd like to repair instead.

If that doesn't help, uninstall the App with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine), and restart your computer before and reinstalling it.

@jamlick I mean exactly what I wrote. If you download a new copy of the EA App's installer, and open it (double-click), you may see the option to repair the App rather than install. If you do see that option, choose it; otherwise simply install the App again. If that doesn't help, download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and use it to remove the App, then restart your computer and reinstall it.
