usually it's not possible to transfer stuff unless you have two accounts and you have them merged by support.

Not sure why the advisor said it was possible but if, only advisors can help you with it.

Backing up your data is easy though. Just do this: https://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/backups/

Also changing your EA account won't make you loose your data.
