Sorry for impeding on this post, but I'm having a very similar issue. I'm unable to connect to the servers as well, but instead of having Sims 4 I have Sims 3. Would these same step by step instructions help me as well? Please direct me if you may to a forum that can give me more in-depth knowledge. I'd appreciate it.

I've looked at countless websites and read dozens of other peoples' problems. This is really getting on my nerves because it's worked for me in the past on other computers, just not this one. I'm really worried that I'm the only one because all of the problems seemed to have been in 2015 and 2014. I've tried everything and I'm getting really desperate! Please help! Just to let you know, I don't have my firewall on and I have no antivirus software. My wifi normally fast, but we had some issues with it not working a month ago. I was really excited to install on here just to have my excitement crushed when I learned that I can't get on. I use a mac. Please help!
