Re: UNABLE TO SAVE GAME!

This 'should' work:

  1. Go to the My Documents folder and locate the Electronic Arts folder (C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\Electronic Arts)
  2. Delete the 'The Sims 4' folder (it contains all the save data).
  3. Reload Game (folder will be recreated for you).
  4. Try to save.

Good luck

I have tried this, and tried to remove the saves folder, and adding it while in game AND deleting caches.. And nothing is helping..

Only possible to save the game 2-3times when the game has restarted, but the worst part is that when I try to save the game after that, and get the error code, the latest saves just disappear, and I have to start all over again.

Hope that somebody finds a solution to this problem soon. From what I`ve seen a lot of people have this problem.

    Here's something to try:

Backup your Tray and Save files (or just move the folders to your desktop).
Delete the Documents > Electronic Arts > Sims 4 folder
    Restart the game from Origin
If it's working in a new game for a while, add your old Tray and Save files back in so you can use them.

  • Try to tap the repair button on the sims4 in origin. if that not workes try too update your pc or sims4 or both of them If that not workes try to uninstal and then instal th sims4.

If you typed a message in the wrong thread you can tap the three dots and delete it so that you don't confuse anyone 🙂

    @LaraCroftEyes1

Did you move all of them?
For example, move the mods folder from C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to your Desktop and start the game.

    Also try repairing your game

Open your Origin client and go to My Game Library, right-click The Sims 4 and choose Repair.

Clearing internet cache has nothing to do with it. Maybe clearing Origin cache though, but only of it's origin that will not start. Do you get an error message or what happens?

Sound good. Here are some tips about broken mods!

You can try some different things to sort out the ones not working:

    • If your problem occurred after a certain mod haul, remove all these new mods (see if the game works), and then add back a few at a time, restarting the game in between until you see the problem occurring again. Remember that you can possible have several broken mods.
    • If the problem started after the latest patch/update, always make sure to update your mods when you update your game. Check this list out for some mods that were broken in the C&D-patch! A few others have been broken after but not so many that there is a list.
      http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/928106/broken-mods-cats-and-dogs-nov-2017
    • Download Sims 4 Studio and do batch-fixes for your cc.
    • Search for the Mod Conflict Detector on google and run it, see if it can detect some broken/conflicting mods, remove these and try your game again. (Only detects conflicts between mods, not between mods and the game)
    • Like the first "solution", but for all your mods. Remove all and put back some at a time to find broken ones (last resort if you have like 1000 mods).

    Good Luck!
