i have the same problem, i have the dll file and both 2013 and 2010 versions of visual studios but still gives me an error that i dont.

Try to Install x86 versions even if your are running a 64-bit windows . (it solved the problem on my side).

hola no consigo arreglar ese error...alguien save alguna solucion?
estoy por volver a los sims 3... y roper este CD...Q NO SE PARA Q LO COMPRO CUANDO LO PUEDES HACER TODO DESDE ORIGIN ☹️
ya no se q hacer... llevo una semana y sin poder jugar
